Memory is due to the action of \u003cem\u003ethinking\u003c\/em\u003e . The impressions made on the soul through the senses remain in the human organism. Just as some concepts of an object arise within the soul, so it happens with memory, due to the fact that after an impression received through the senses an image of the object remains.
