Dettagli
«In life after death, man becomes macrocosm. When the soul has left the body, it expands to the entire planetary system, so that all men occupy the same space at the same time; they interpenetrate one another, but they know nothing about each other. Only spiritual relationships make us aware of each other. If down here man did not establish relationships with other entities - first of all with other human beings and, as should now increasingly happen thanks to spiritual science, with the entities of the higher hierarchies - it would then happen that he would have nothing to do, between death and new birth, if not just continually looking at himself. Looking only at oneself for many centuries is not exactly a desirable sight. What expands this self to a larger world are the relationships we have established here on Earth. Earthly life exists so that we can develop relationships and relationships that then continue beyond death, because we must establish here below what makes us a sociable being in the spiritual world."
