THE 507 VALERIAN PREPARATION

The valerian preparation is prepared at the end of May, beginning of June with valerian flowers left to ripen in a glass container with spring water exposed to the sun, for a period ranging from 15 to 22 days (depending on the heat and light of the period) and then filtered and pressed: the juice obtained is preparation 507, immediately ready for use.
This preparation, like all those from 502 to 507, are usually called heap preparations and their use is usually restricted to its preparation, while already from the first experiments of the 1925-30s, experiments had already been carried out for their use single or associated with other biodynamic preparations.
R. Steiner explains that with the action of this preparation the "sulphur relates to the iron" bringing into the compound a process linked to the Moon, the planet that controls growth in vegetables.
These indications that follow are not intended and cannot be exhaustive for the use of the preparation but simply indications that I have grasped with my experience and which I make available to anyone who wants to study, try and experiment and who thinks that biodynamic agriculture is in continuous evolution and not a hard and fast science. It should be noted that the German biodynamic world generally does not use and considers incorrect the use of so-called "heap preparations" for single or non-heap use: consider that many German biodynamicists do not include heap preparations in the Fladen because it does not have said R. Steiner….

Steiner says little about 507 “Take the flowers of valeriana officinalis, press them and dilute the product of these pressings very strongly; you can prepare it at any time and then store it, especially if you use hot water to dilute it. By subtly adding this diluted juice of valerian flowers to the fertilizer, it is possible to awaken in it what particularly stimulates it to behave in the right way with respect to what is indicated as a phosphoric substance.”
• 507 is linked to the phosphorus process and the Planet Saturn and is connected to the zodiac signs of Capricorn and Aquarius
• Brings heat processes and helps plants overcome the cold
• A dose is placed in the heap bd with the other preparations and then sprayed on the heap and the adjacent ground like a blanket
• In the medical field, phosphorus strengthens the ego (therefore the spiritual archetype in the plant) compared to an astral element which acts with greater vigor
• If you have a product that has a past you need to respect the past by bringing it into the future and for this you need to teach it a bit of suffering, a bit of struggle for example with valerian
• At a certain point the plant rises and no longer puts out leaves, it goes to the spiritual world to flower and there it serves the phosphorus process
• Valerian brings the plant into the world of warmth
• The Valerian preparation is excellent used in states of stress: after hail, after water stress, after trimming or pruning
• all stressed plants have a physiological action and stress also causes damage in wine
• valerian is also a cardiac regulator, it is an anti-stress, an anti-shock
• It is also useful as an "antifreeze" on spring blooms
• Use 507 with 506 and 501 in the last spray 20 days before harvest
• Enhances flavours, colours, shelf life, odors and the general quality of the fruit
• 5 grams 501 per hectare and 12 grams of 506 with 25 grams 507 added in the last 20 minutes to be sprayed in a very fine drop within 2 hours in the early morning
I remind you that valerian syrup is available for human use, a syrup with 20% ultrasonic extract that I designed for human use.
Here are its properties: “It is the plant of nervous balance, always known to remedy the most persistent insomnia, neurasthenia or infantile convulsions.
It also brings benefits in hot flashes and nervous asthma. It is necessary to limit its use to 10 days a month to avoid getting used to it which would lead to a reduction in the effects in a short time." Agri.BioDinamica certified
Being the only liquid biodynamic preparation, it is necessary to always check the state of conservation of preparation 507, keeping it in the case of biodynamic preparations or simply in a closed cupboard and away from electrical sources: the strong and penetrating scent, typical of valerian, gives its state of conservation, when it starts to smell rotten or loses its scent it is no longer valid. Well preserved, it lasts 3 or 4 years.
Any other idea or suggestion of yours, experimentation done with the use of 507 would be very welcome to me because only by collaborating and exchanging information are we truly human and we grow and make others grow together.
