Rosmini was able to unite within himself the plastic and articulated character of ancient Greek-Latic rationality with the strong-willed yearning for individual experience typical of modern consciousness, so that his work represents a wonderful mediation between the two worlds. One could speak of him as the most classical of modern philosophers and the modern of classical philosophers.
