BLACK OATS - ORGANIC DRESSED
Dettagli
Autumn or spring sowing species used alone or for the formation of herbage in association with legumes and grasses. It is used not only for grain, but also for winter grazing or silage.
The different varieties of oats are distinguished based on the color of the grain: white oats, generally indicated for the production of grain, have a less leafy and more robust plant, while black oats (dark color of the grain) are more precocious and more leafy, therefore more suitable for integral use.
It should be kept in mind that nitrogen fertilization must be commensurate not only with the fertility of the soil and the climate, but also with the resistance to lodging of the varieties used.
The optimal mowing period for silage production is from the beginning of heading until milk maturation.
