Dettagli

Characteristics

BIOLARV is a biological insecticide in wettable powder that acts by ingestion against the larvae of the main phytophagous lepidopterans. It belongs to the Kurstaki variety, particularly selective towards useful insects. BIOLARV acts quickly, blocking the trophic activity of the larvae. Its results are sensitive and with long-term effect. Totally safe for the environment, for humans and warm-blooded animals, it has a fast and progressive decomposition, such as to guarantee three days of deficiency on all crops. BIOLARV proves to be miscible with almost all agrochemicals on the market. It is not compatible with alkaline substances.

Tips for correct use

Intervene when the larvae are in the early stages of development. Avoid using water with a pH higher than 7, otherwise use a buffer product (e.g. Citric Acid ). Use equipment that ensures complete and uniform wetting of the vegetation. Treatments should be carried out in the evening if possible and in any case during the cooler hours. Distribute the mixture within 12 hours of its preparation. The addition of a wetting-tackifier can be useful to obtain better distribution and persistence of the product. Monitoring insects with traps is recommended in order to correctly plan the intervention and ensure maximum effectiveness.
