The Chlorasyl® Filter Candle has a lifespan of 3,800 litres. The filter candle is used exclusively in Doulton® Treatment Units. A single candle for four levels of water filtration.

Features of Ultracarb® spark plugs

* Level 1 – External ceramic shell: microfiltration (0.5 micron) of pathogenic organisms (bacteria, parasites, cysts…), sediments and impurities (turbidity) > 99.99%

* Level 2 – Interior of ceramic shell: BioTech™ & SureSeal™, antibacterial formulation containing silver to prevent microbiological growth inside the ceramic element.

* Level 3 – Compacted activated carbon block: Elimination of bad taste, odors, chlorine and chlorine derivatives > 97%. Residues and chemical products > 95% (herbicides, pesticides, atranzian, trihalomethanes, aromatic hydrocarbons...). Residues of hygiene and personal care products and medicines > 90%

* Level 4 Reduction of heavy metals: (lead, aluminium…) > 99%

Composition: Microporous ceramic + compacted activated carbon and means for reducing heavy metals and improving organic substances.

Maintenance: Replacement of the Chlorasyl® cartridge at least once a year or every 3,800 liters of filtered water (corresponds to 10.5 liters of water per day). Cleaning of the candle to be carried out if the water flow rate is reduced.
