The Super Sterasyl® Filter Candle has a lifespan of 2,000 litres. The filter candle is used exclusively in Doulton Treatment Units. A single candle for four levels of water filtration.

Features of Super Sterasyl® candles

* Level 1 – External ceramic shell: microfiltration (0.5 micron) of pathogenic organisms (bacteria, parasites, cysts…), sediments and impurities (turbidity) > 99.99%

* Level 2 – Interior of ceramic shell: BioTech™ & SureSeal™, antibacterial formulation containing silver to prevent microbiological growth inside the ceramic element.

* Level 3 – Compacted activated carbon block: Elimination of bad taste, odors, chlorine and chlorine derivatives > 95%.

Composition: Microporous ceramic + compacted activated carbon and heavy metal reduction media

Dimensions: 7" (177mm) long x 2" (49mm) diameter. 1 1/2" (36 mm) long socket.

Maintenance: Replace the Super Sterasyl® cartridge at least once a year or every 2,000 liters of filtered water (corresponds to 5.4 liters of water per day). Cleaning of the candle to be carried out if the water flow rate is reduced.
