COLOR

ColorCer is a chromotropic trap for the mass capture and/or monitoring of various insects which by their nature are attracted to colours. It is made up of a plastic sheet measuring 20 x 40 cm, glued on both sides, resistant to atmospheric agents and pesticide treatments; it maintains its effectiveness until it is saturated with captured insects. It can be used both in the greenhouse and in the open field.
Available in colors:
- Yellow: Aleurodids (Whitefly, Bemisia tabaci , etc.), Aphids, Hymenoptera, Liriomyza spp., Ragoletis cerasi, Metcalfa pruinosa, Olive Fly, Fruit Fly and Diptera in general.
- Blue: for Thrips ( Frankliniella Occidentalis, Thrips tabaci ).

Install ColorCer at the height of the shoots and raise it progressively according to vegetative growth. The number of traps per hectare varies depending on the type of crop, the pest to be controlled and the intensity of the infestation.
For the correct use of ColorCer, periodic monitoring of the catches and checking the condition of the traps and their adhesive power is of fundamental importance. Do not install the traps at the same time as the release of beneficial insects. In the winter it is recommended to keep the traps at room temperature 20°C for at least two hours before use.
