How to finance an innovative start-up - Giuliano Bartolomei, Alessandra Marcozzi

The text constitutes a practical guide to the opportunities provided by community, national and regional legislation in favor of innovative start-ups. The first part is dedicated to examining the legislation on innovative start-ups, reviewing all the benefits provided by Law 221/2012 and the others implemented by the Ministry of Economic Development in order to develop an ecosystem favorable to their birth and growth. The second part is dedicated to the financial incentives provided at community, national and regional level within both the residual structural funds 2007-2013 and the next funds for the period 2014-20. The text is also updated with the recent legislation on innovative SMEs introduced by Law 33/2015.
