The Doulton® HCS INOX above-sink water treatment unit treats water for food use. It allows you to have a continuous flow of pure and safe water for all domestic uses: for drinking, cooking, washing fruit and vegetables starting from any incoming water (aqueduct, rain or well).
Doulton® HCS INOX is positioned above the sink and connects directly to the tap with a threaded connection. With a diverter valve to be fixed on the existing tap, the water can be derived and purified directly in the Ultracarb® candle positioned in the stainless steel system, composed of ceramic and compacted activated carbon. The filtered water will come out of the adjustable gooseneck spout. No waste production and electricity consumption.
Composition: The Doulton® HCS treatment unit above the sink is equipped with an Ultracarb spark plug, a diversion tap with its 1 meter long hose, a connection fitting for a tap with F22x100 female thread
Features: Made of stainless steel. Doulton® HCS dimensions: Height 29 cm x Diameter 7 cm.
Connections: Threaded connection for tap M22x100 or M24x100 (corresponds to standard tap threads)
Conditions of use: Pressure from 1 to 6 bar / Temperature from 5 to 30 °C. Quantity of filtered water: 3 liters per minute (at 3 bar pressure)
Maintenance: Replacing the Ultracarb® cartridge at least once a year or every 2,300 liters of filtered water (corresponds to 6.5 liters of water per day). Cleaning of the candle to be carried out if the water flow rate is reduced.

Characteristics of Ultracarb spark plugs
* Level 1 – External ceramic shell: microfiltration (0.5 micron) of pathogenic organisms (bacteria, parasites, cysts…), sediments and impurities (turbidity) > 99.99%
* Level 2 – Interior of ceramic shell: BioTech™ & SureSeal™, antibacterial formulation containing silver to prevent microbiological growth inside the ceramic element.
* Level 3 – Compacted activated carbon block: Elimination of bad taste, odors, chlorine and chlorine derivatives > 97%. Residues and chemical products > 95% (herbicides, pesticides, atranzian, trihalomethanes, aromatic hydrocarbons…). Residues of hygiene and personal care products and medicines > 90%
* Level 4 Reduction of heavy metals: (lead, aluminium…) > 99%
