Characteristics
The effectiveness of quasium wood has been proven over the decades; before the advent of synthetic products it found great application in the defense of crops from aphids. The bitter principles it contains (quassina) make the foliage unappetizing to phytophagous of all species. In foliar treatment products it is certainly among those that best respect the biological balance (it does not damage pollinators and many other useful insects). If used correctly (long maceration in water and even application on the leaf) it provides excellent results. It is used successfully on the pre-flowering pear crop on the Tentredini.
