• Designed by Maria Thun at the end of the 1950s following the suggestion of E. Pfeiffer
• Fladen is also called Maria Thun preparation
• Buried in a wooden box, at least 40-60 cm deep, without a bottom in a shaded place
• It is an organic compound of animal, vegetable and mineral origin
• Allows the soil to be enriched with the bacterial flora necessary for decomposition, creating the right harmony between the various bacterial strains
• Transforms and at the same time prevents putrefactive processes
• Maintains biological life in the soil by supporting the presence of earthworms
• Fladen allows the formation of humic-clayey processes and brings the influence of cumulation preparations even to areas that are not always treated (marginal)
• Fladen promotes the right balance between the growth of the roots and the foliar system
• helps the plant in stress from drought, heat or water stagnation
• Dynamise it for an hour in autumn with 500 and spray it in the afternoon with a large drop
• For drought, it needs to be dynamited and sprayed for at least 3 days in a row
• It is useful to distribute it after planting the green manure
• Use after chopping green manure and pruning
• After mowing grass in meadows and pastures
• Defends weaker crops from the winter cold
• Can be used as a root bath
• Use on earth-root days and on descending moon
• It is used to reduce radioactivity (experience on German soil after Chernobyl)
• Distribute it 1 or 2 times in autumn and equally in spring with the 500.

recipe for preparation
Based on my experiences I have slightly modified Maria Thun's recipe with these following doses:
• 100 kg fresh cattle manure without straw
• 1.5 kg finely chopped egg shells
• 5 kg basalt in very fine powder
• Dynamicize everything with shovels for an hour
• Insertion into a hole built with boards (at least 3 cm thick) and lid or old barrique or bottomless jar with lid
• Depth of the case from 40 to 100 centimetres
• Insertion of three doses together of cumulation preparations
• Turn the flaten in the box every two months
• It is extracted in May and stored like the 500
• When placing preparations in the case for conservation, reinsert the preparations from accumulation (2nd series)
• Use of 300 gr. per hectare
• Dynamize 300 grams of flaten for 20 minutes (M. Thun) or better yet 60 minutes in 30-50 liters of warm water in the afternoon
• it can also be dynamized together with the 500
• Spray in large drops in the evening on possibly damp soil or late
• Dynamized by hand, it can also be used several days later

storage
• It is left in the preparation box (like the 500) and is kept for 2 years from when it was extracted
• Always keep it moist
• The plastic bag is for transportation only. For conservation it should be transferred to a copper or earthenware container that is not hermetically sealed in a box containing peat on each side for at least 8 cm of thickness. Or dig a hole in good soil and cover the container with soil (mark the place where you put it)
