Why is the use of this SO2 generator practically inevitable?

Sulfur is connected to the ethers of fire and light. Passing it through an aqueous stage (sulphurous solution) severely weakens it and limits its effectiveness. By burning the sulfur in this device and sending it directly into the wine WITHOUT decanting, its effects are strongly accentuated.

This sulfur dioxide (SO2) generator was designed by Philippe Gourdon who then authorized me to produce it, thanks to our mutual friendship with Nicolas Joly. Thanks to Philippe's experience we have made some changes to the original project in order to make it more functional and simple to use.

Why use this SO2 generator?

Because its gaseous solution of sulfur dioxide is much more alive and soul-receptive than the simple introduction as a mineral substance into the wine.

Wine is not a mineral, but a liquid soul substance impregnated with luminous mineral images that it has elaborated from the soil where the grapes were grown and inserting a mineral (sulphur) into wine for any human being who uses the senses is like inserting a mineral fertilizer in the soil, and it is true madness and at the same time it ruins the caloric-luminous nectar of the Gods, overshadowing it!

Using an anthroposophical image I could say that the gas (ether of light) melts and incorporates much better with the "spiritual heat" or spirit of the wine of the mineral solution, as the fire that burns and dissolves the Sulfur makes its parts sublimate more “fine” and causes the Sal to decay and, uniting with the Oxygen, it becomes a light impregnated with heat: in this way it binds much better to the luminous heat of the wine.

As you know, Sulfur is the physical representative or "messenger" of the sign of Gemini, while Oxygen is the physical representative or "messenger" of Aquarius. Since they are both two air signs, they certainly express themselves better in the element of air than on the mineral plane.

The generator weighs 5.5 kg and is entirely made of stainless steel: it is 53 cm high, 21 cm wide and 18 cm deep. You must provide yourself with an oxygen cylinder which is not included in the generator.

The different experiences we have had over the years allow us to provide clarifications and additional information which you will find below.

• If it is necessary to sulphurize several containers in succession, wait for the generator to cool down between one use and another, otherwise there is a risk of self-ignition while filling the sulphur.

• Always wait until the glass is completely cold and at room temperature before using it again, otherwise you run the risk of breaking it. If you break it you can reorder it from Agri.Bio: it is made of 4 mm glass ceramic.

• If you have more than 20-30 grams to burn, you can open the bottom of the device and load the crucible directly, although in this generator we have enlarged the sulfur tank. The maximum load is 80 grams of SO2.

• The sulfur combustion time is proportional to the load: from 3 to 4 minutes for 10 grams of sulfur (e.g. for 40 grams it takes 12 to 15 minutes)

• It is useful to increase the amount of oxygen shortly after combustion begins, because under the effect of heat sulfur liquefies and requires more oxygen to burn than when it is in powder form.

• Be very careful not to push the diffuser (at the end of the plastic tube) into the lees, if there is any in the bottom of the barrel or in the container, to avoid clogging the gas outlet holes and increasing the pressure in the generator.

• The black adjustment button of the blue regulator has a click to be able to rotate it in one direction or the other, you need to press this button to be able to activate it.

• I recommend you try it outdoors in a bucket of water first to familiarize yourself with use.

• It is absolutely necessary to monitor the combustion through the glass, especially at the end, to avoid sending oxygen into the wine instead of SO2.

• It is important to remember and check that when combustion is finished to immediately close the valve so that the tube does not create a siphon effect and suck the wine into the generator.
