The text constitutes an operational guide to the direct and indirect financing opportunities of the European Union for the period 2014-2020, for entrepreneurs, professionals, students, public officials and those who wish to delve deeper into the opportunities offered by European funds. The practical nature of the text allows the reader to know how to access the participant portals, as well as the tools and methodologies for preparing and managing a successful project (PCM and LFA). After a brief updated presentation of the context of the European Union and its economic and social cohesion policies, the thematic programs directly managed by the European Commission and its agencies are presented (Horizon 2020, Cosme, Erasmus+, EASI, etc.). The second part delves into the theme of cohesion policy which is implemented through the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) to which is also added a careful analysis of the National Operational Programs valid for the entire 2014-2020 period.
