Dettagli

Who hasn't suffered a bereavement?

Sigwart dies during World War I, but once he "passes away" he tries to contact his family through his sister Lycki.

«It is I who speak to you, your brother Sigwart who loves you» thus began his first Communication in 1915.

The main theme that Sigwart faces is asking his family not to cry and not to be sad since this does not help him on the path he has to face on the other side of the physical world. Sigwart communicates as if he were not dead, he still seems to live within the walls of Liebenberg and this can be felt in every message, he himself reveals that where "he is now" distances are only a human conception like living and dying.

Following Sigwart's path, we can build "a bridge" within our soul that connects our world to the spiritual world where our loved ones live and we can stem our wounds; starting to look at death with a different eye.

He himself describes it positively as entering a Kingdom of Light and Love. And his every word is permeated with Love: a feeling that overflows from all his Communications, comes to life and warms the heart of the reader.

Sigwart goes further, explaining the meaning of World War I, of the advent of Christ on Earth and there is no shortage of further surprises and people who will accompany him.

They are pages of comfort: in these Communications Sigwart consoles his family members, helps them to detach themselves from the pain of his death and accompanies them to discover what comes next... as any loved one of our now deceased would do. Thus a sort of "transformation" takes place, Sigwart creates "another bridge" and each message takes on the face of the person dearest to us who has passed away.

We remind everyone that these communications were submitted by Sigwart's sister-in-law (Marie) to Rudolf Steiner, who expressed his total approval of what was reported.

Translation from the 2014 German edition revised and corrected.

Author:

Botho Sigwart, author and composer born in Munich 1884, was so gifted that at just 7 years old he wrote Lieder by ear. Sigwart's passion was not only music but also philosophy and esotericism. In his short life he was passionately interested in oriental religions, Buddhism, Theosophy, until he met Rudolf Steiner in 1906, following Anthroposophy with enthusiasm from that moment on. Steiner was, in fact, a friend of the counts of Eulenburg, and was sometimes a guest at Liebenberg, he shared this profound interest with the Lycki brothers, Tora, Karl and with his sister-in-law Marie.

At the outbreak of World War I Sigwart was 30 years old, and he left as a volunteer in the German army, with the deep impulse to defend his homeland in danger, he died on 2 June 1915.

His communications do not have a mediumistic character; Sigwart transmitted his messages from the afterlife during the day to non-trance but conscious people, who then transcribed them.
