Author
Sergej O. Prokofieff was born in Moscow, Russia, in 1954. He spent his childhood years in the broad and lively artistic and cultural sphere of his famous family. Already between the ages of fourteen and nineteen, in Crimea, in a house belonging to the well-known Russian poet Woloschin, who had participated in the construction of the first Goetheanum, he was able to become acquainted with the fundamental works of Rudolf Steiner. Sergei O. Prokofieff studied painting and art history at the Moscow Higher Institute of Art. He encounters Anthroposophy and decides to dedicate his life to it. He carries out a very intense activity as a writer and lecturer. He actively participated in the re-foundation of the Anthroposophical Society in Russia. Since Easter 2001 he has been a member of the Presidency of the Universal Anthroposophical Society; he is currently an emeritus member.
