The magical use of incense, perfume, stones and candles - Carmen Duo

Since prehistory (and in particular in the Egyptian and Chaldean civilizations, when magic experienced a true golden age), Nature has been considered a means to obtain dominion over specific forces. Nature is in fact the basis of most magical practices: the preparation of filters through herbs; the fumigation of incense and essences as an act of purification, prayer and spiritual elevation; the use of stones and crystals, small images of the universe and its energies, and for this reason considered a natural protection by all peoples; and also the use of candles during occult rites, to promote an altered state of consciousness. All natural elements, used in an occult sense, can be transformed into magical tools, both in a positive and negative sense: what is truly fundamental and powerful in magic is, in fact, intention. Whatever object is used in magical practices, it will absorb our subtle energies, therefore our conscious (or unconscious) intentions. For this reason, be careful what you want to achieve!
