The ancient wisdom of our ancestors - Maria Cristina Mazzi

In the pages of my life I sometimes wander among the islands of childhood. A world lost in the enchantment of proverbs, the stories and recipes of mother and grandmother, moments of true authenticity. But what were the lifestyles before television, newspapers, the internet and the means of communication in general created the current ones? Before the explosion of the era of progress, how did people provide for the practical life of the city and the countryside? She made her own products when she could. I then searched for old, perhaps forgotten, procedures in an old, worn text, which I propose again here, together with the debate of the time, to those like me who believe that it is important not to lose historical memory in order to understand the present. In this way the season of adolescence, the continuous discovery of oneself, of what surrounds us, and the world of the present, breathless and full of elusive nuances, will be experienced intensely in the round.
