BOOK “THE TRUE SCIENTIFIC AND SPIRITUAL BASIS OF NUTRITION” - E. KOLISKO E. PFEIFFER
Dettagli
I wanted to put together two works by these two great and unfortunately underestimated by the anthroposophical world itself and written 26 years apart because they have an "important logical thread" (as an old song would say). The first five conferences are by Eugene Kolisko, a great doctor and researcher who died prematurely at the age of 46: his words have the gift of a clear, simple and above all useful and effective exposition even today.
In these conferences which he held in Germany in 1932 the author gives a harmonious and complete overall picture on the issues of human nutrition in a clear and timely manner even to a person who is not familiar with the topic, managing to give practical advice on how being managed, guided, created and cared for is one of the most habitual gestures we do every day, often without thinking too much and often letting ourselves be guided by sneaky fashions or false and erroneous preconceptions. Through a spiritual-scientific analysis, Eugene Kolisko takes us from the plate to the field of origin of our food with very clear analyzes and simple and timely advice.
While E. Pfeiffer's conference which he held at the Gotheanum in 1958, three years before his death, a conference which I interpret as his spiritual testament, made in his place where he would have wanted to live and which was to be the heart of the anthroposophical movement, a place which instead became a bit "the tomb" of the movement itself, thanks to an obscure work carried out by what R. Steiner himself defined before his death as "the Jesuit among you". But this conference also gives us many ideas on how we can overcome this anthroposophical kaly yuga: you just need to have the courage to start!
