THE POND AND THE HUMAN ORGANISM - EUGEN & LILLY KOLISKO
Dettagli
The authors of this book met for the first time in a military hospital in Vienna during the 1914-1918 war. Eugen Kolisko's family members had been, for generations, eminent members of the Medical Faculty of the University of Vienna. He and Lilly Kolisko were enthusiastic students of medicine and all branches of natural science. At the end of the war they married and went to Stuttgart to support the work of Rudolf Steiner: scientist, philosopher and pioneer in many fields of knowledge. The Dr. Eugen Kolisko not only worked as a doctor, but also as a teacher and lecturer. His wife Lilly devoted herself to scientific research and was the promoter of capillary dynamolysis, a scientific technique that can be applied to medicine, pharmacy, agriculture and other scientific fields. The Dr. Steiner took a personal interest in his work and spoke of it enthusiastically. In 1936 the Koliskos went to live in England in the hope of expanding their work. The Dr. Kolisko lectured in America and she spent several months in India for a series of lectures. In 1939, at the outbreak of the war, Dr. Kolisko died. Mrs. Kolisko continued her research work and also transcribed and published some of her husband's lectures. From these, and from all his work, emerges the depth and scope of what these two interesting personalities achieved. They were creative thinkers, with a universal vision. The value of their work increases as time passes.
