VERY PRACTICAL MANUAL OF BIODYNAMIC AGRICULTURE
Dettagli
Today, biodynamic agriculture is very "in fashion," and for this very reason we often find ourselves reading, seeing, and hearing things that have little to do with its true and often unknown scientific-spiritual principles.
I became interested in this type of agriculture and began practicing it in the late 1980s. Being the son of farmers, I absolutely did not want to practice the idiotic, poisonous chemical agriculture that was popular in those years, and because organic farming, although good and useful, did not give me all the answers I was looking for.
I decided to write this Manual to gather together my thirty years of study, training, and practical experience in a simple and accessible text, so that it is easily accessible to anyone who wants to approach and practice the method.
This agricultural method was born in 1924, well before organic farming, thanks to the brilliant intuitions of Rudolf Steiner.
In this updated and expanded fourth edition of the Very Practical Manual of Biodynamic Agriculture, you will find, divided by theme, in 108 thematic chapters over 540 pages, all the key points on how to best use the preparations and recognize the fundamental processes of biodynamic agriculture. A concise yet comprehensive explanation of the preparation, storage, and use of each preparation is included, along with a comprehensive overview of everything you need to know and practice a functional and profitable biodynamic agriculture that is healthy and good, bringing light to our thoughts, soil, plants, and actions!
The first thing to cultivate, and often the most difficult, is oneself: knowing how to distinguish one's own Self from one's ego, knowing how to consciously and consciously interweave science with the spirit and agricultural issues, because it is necessary to approach and practice this technique without preconceptions and with a healthy curiosity, observation, courage, and enthusiasm: "fertilizers" that serve both ourselves and those around us!
Among other things, I would like to remind you that biodynamic agriculture has a strongly social aspect, and if you can build even just a small group of farmers to meet regularly, prepare the preparations together, and exchange experiences on their use, it helps a lot, spreading and speeding up the learning of the method: a method where you never stop learning, creating, and experimenting!
I can tell you from my own experience that biodynamic agriculture works very well, with results that are quickly visible, and it costs little in economic terms, except for respecting the etheric-vital rhythms and processes in the use of preparations and processes. The earth is immersed in the rhythm of Nature, but nothing like cultivated Nature today desires to be awakened and humanized!
