Description

Maurizio Zarpellon offers a collection of observations, secrets, reflections and images of a year spent among plants , lovable companions whose character we will learn to know, sometimes impetuous, often shy, almost always adaptable. Yes, because like many men, flowers also know how to be patient.

For those who really love gardening, talking about it and hearing about it is never enough .

The earth, with a gentle call, reminds us that hard-working and patient creativity will bear fruit, teaching us to experience winter as a slow preparation for the light of spring, when a shock will awaken us from the cold, accompanying us to the summer sun, ready to fade into the twilight of autumn, the best time for sowing and harvesting.

With simplicity and passion the gardener-writer tells us about the flowers he loves most, the perennial herbs and shrubs, suggesting that technique is not enough: let us be guided by instinct and the garden will become a game.
