ONION OIL - CERRUS
Dettagli
Composition
Characteristics
It is an oil used as a fragrance in the food industry and is made up of a complex mixture of substances including various di-trisulphides.
It is used in the professional agricultural field as an olfactory repellent, masking the specific target odor of some crops from phytophages. It is available in convenient and practical single-dose vials to be used in dispensers. Onion oil represents a valid support for traditional chemical treatments and thanks to its mechanism of action it can be used alternately or in combination with them with a view to managing resistance.
Methods and doses of use
The onion oil must be placed inside distributors (dispensers) made up of small glass or plastic jars, with slits to allow good evaporation.
There are two different methods for preparing the speakers:
Method A) Fill the dispenser with 20ml (full vial) of onion oil.
Alternatively
Method B) Fill the dispenser with 4.4g (approximately 1/4 of a vial, equal to 5ml) of onion oil and add ethylene vinyl acetate EVA granules until reaching a total weight of 30g. The granules improve and regulate evaporation.
