Variety of Dutch origin selected in the 2000s, with a yellow texture and excellent flavour, it has an excellent culinary aptitude. Characterized by a good size and shape of the tuber, in ideal conditions it can produce a lot. Adopt a fertilization plan based on the results of the soil analysis. Distribute approximately 180-200 kg/ha of nitrogen, dividing it between sowing (75%) and ridging (25%). Organic fertilization helps keep the crop vigorous. The variety is susceptible to magnesium deficiency, therefore fertilize with microelements containing Mg. It has a medium dormancy, it is advisable to treat the soil and/or the tuber against the main adversities in the soil that can damage the skin. It can grow in almost all types of soil, the best quality can be obtained in fertile and medium clayey soils, it prefers poor and sandy soils less. It is resistant to tuberomania, so it can be planted early. The use of Metribuzin is recommended in pre-emergency, in case of post-emergency use a lower dosage. Irrigation ensures a more uniform product with better cooking quality. Also sensitive to alternariosis, therefore start treatments from the moment of flowering. Pay attention when drying the stems to have the desired cooking quality. To maintain glowing, smooth skin, the tubers should not be left in the ground for too long. It has good dormancy, so storage in natural conditions can be carried out in the first months after harvest. The variety is mainly concentrated in the Po Valley.
