Rapidly growing plant with excellent soil coverage, deep and taprooting root system, ideal for weed containment.

It has a strong nematicidal action, killing almost all harmful nematodes, preventing their multiplication, consequently with each green manure cycle a reduction of nematodes in the soil is achieved.

Horseradish also has a biofumigant action thanks to the release of particular glucosinolates which determine a high biocidal activity in the soil.

Thanks to the balanced C/N ratio the green mass degrades rapidly, increasing the humus of the soil . Recent studies indicate an input of approximately one tonne/hectare of organic substance.

Excellent for greenhouse crops.

It is sown in almost all seasons, preferably from April to October. Light tillage of the soil is sufficient and rolling after sowing is highly recommended. Shred before complete flowering and bury within a few hours to obtain the maximum biocidal effect.
