This text takes us through powerful images through the origin, specificity and task of these three fundamental manifestations of the mineral world: from their formation to their task on Earth, to their future evolution. These three substances which are the basis of biodynamic agriculture and beyond, are examined in the most complete way: scientific, spiritual and artistic, in seventeen short but intense investigations which are completed by a beautiful image, placed at the end of the investigation, on which being able to let our imagination work so that through correct inspiration we can arrive at our personal intuition. It is no coincidence that the seventeenth investigation is without an image: since this speaks of each of us, of our Mystery, we will be the ones to draw it, if we want.
This text helps us in the difficult task of understanding not so much the substances (limestone, silica and clay) but three concepts that Rudolf Steiner had already used in the basic text of biodynamic agriculture "Scientific-spiritual impulses for the progress of agriculture", that is, "silicisity", "limestone" and "clayiness", leading us to see that in addition to the element and the process, its function must also be defined and discovered. “For us human beings, meditation means entering into ourselves to accomplish what Christ Jesus first accomplished in the baptism of the Jordan.
