Why has man, since ancient times, always sought and used essences? What essences were used by the Romans, Egyptians, Chinese and other civilizations? What is the history of essences such as chamomile, rosemary or cinnamon that we use every day? The first part of this book is dedicated to these and other questions, which aims to revive the essences by recreating their ancient splendor in the context of ancestral rites, to explore their magical world and to scour the paths trodden by caravans hundreds of years ago .
